InfoMax is an ACC and Airport Tower Information System that combines data from various sources on a single screen, including AFTN-Information, data from wind, temperature, QNH and RVR sensors as well as information from Navaids, lighting, stop bars and ATIS. The screen layout is highly configurable and also allows the control of the airfield lighting.
Various ways to communicate with external systems are possible, like TCP/IP, UDP, serial lines, etc. and commonly used standards (e.g. Asterix, XML) are used as far as possible. Interfaces to external sensors/systems using proprietary data formats can be easily added. The InfoMax server runs in a fully redundant configuration and performs data-mirroring between the exec and standby servers. By that means, high availability as required for safety critical applications can be achieved.
The InfoMax HMI is fully configurable and consists of a number
of pages which are also fully configurable. The user can easily
navigate through the pages simply by pressing hyperlink buttons
on the page or by using the "Tabs" on the upper edge of
the screen.
