DIFLIS Installation at Vienna Airport

DIFLIS is in operation at Vienna Tower since October 2005. The installation consists of 6 Display Terminals and 2 redundant Servers being connected to the fligth data processing system as well as to the gate management system of Vienna Airport Authority.

 

The system uses a touch panel that is built into the console table. It uses a pen input device, allowing the air traffic controller to rest the palm on the screen without inadvertently making inputs.
