Austro Control orders a major upgrade for the Digital Flight Strip System |

AviBit receives an order from Austro Control for a major upgrade of the Digital Flight Strip System DIFLIS.
With this order from Austro Control, DIFLIS will further be developed and more automatization will be implemented in the system
DIFLIS is in operation at Vienna Tower since October 2005 and is an important tool to help the controller in handling the steadily increasing traffic. It's similarity to conventional paper strips on the one hand and it's ability to support the controllers in their decision making process with an integrated workflow management were the key features why Austro Control decided to buy an AviBit solution.
