ACEMAX - the most suitable solution for Hamburg Airport

ACEMAX - the AviBit A-SMGCS COTS product - is the heart of the delivery to DFS. In a tender procedure DFS selected the AviBit product to be the most suitable solution for Hamburg Airport. The A-SMGCS Hamburg will integrate 2 SMRs, Multilateration System, ASR, Flight Plan Information and stand information. The system will include all A-SMGCS level 2 functionality. The contract awarded to AviBit includes the A-SMGCS Hamburg and another 5 German airports as options.

Hamburg Airport is one of Germany's largest and fastest growing airports, accommodating nearly 13 million passengers last year. The A-SMGCS will help the airport and DFS support growth while maintaining the high level of safety.

"AviBit is very pleased that DFS trusts in the solution offered by AviBit", said Konrad Koeck, General Manager of AviBit. "The AviBit flexible and proven technology and the open interfaces to external system are one of the key issues for the A-SMGCS Hamburg".
